Setting Spray update
Hello, gorgeous ones. So, a while back I posted about my favorite setting sprays, etc. I told you all I loved the MAC Fix+ spray and I STILL do, but I wanted to tell you about a new setting spray I found that I think I like even more. It's made by Skindinavia and can be bought here and other places. They come in a few different versions: Moisture lock, for dry skin, anti-Shine, for oily skin, a normal one, and a special one for weddings. Interestingly enough, Skindinavia makes the Urban Decay setting sprays that I have already tried, but I greatly prefer these and find it lighter on the skin and definitely works. Check it out!

Best Gel Eyeliners!
Hello, my gorgeous fans! Today I want to talk about some of my favorite (and also least favorite) gel eyeliners. The appeal of gel liner is that you get the look of a liquid liner, but it is easier to work with. Until recently I literally could NOT use a liquid liner to save my life, so I only used gel. Now I actually do a combination of both, sometimes doing a gel liner first and then going over it with the liquid to intensify it! Anyway, back to the products!
One gel liner which is really popular, but I actually don't love, is the Bobbi Brown gel liner. My main complaint about it is that when you get it, it's really great, but I feel even just a WEEK after opening the container, it completely dries out and becomes less intense, even when you wet your brush. I even recall a pixiwoo video where they were doing a tutorial and said they had to buy a new one because there's had dried out so fast. It's actually a GREAT product, I just wish it lasted longer. A gel liner I actually DO like that I actually got into because of the pixiwoo girls is the Clinique gel liner. I've had it for a month now and it is still shockingly moist and applies like a creamy dream and comes with a pretty good brush to apply it.
Another gel liner that is really great is the MAC fluidline gel liner. It doesn't stay AS moist as the Clinique, but it's slightly easier to work with. The Clinique one is almost TOO creamy, like frosting or something (maybe a con?). I've also tried the Smashbox gel liner and I feel like that one dried out as soon as I opened it. Stila has these "smudge pots" that are pretty good and come in multiple colors, but they don't stay as well as the MAC and Clinique. Let me know if you have any gel eyeliners that you love that I didn't mention!

MAC Iridescent Powder
Hello, gorgeous, shimmery fans. I just wanted to do a quick review of a product a really love. It's MAC Iridescent Powder. This powder comes in two shades, "Silver Dusk," for lighter or cooler skin tones, and "Golden Bronze" for when you want to looked bronzed and shimmery or you have a darker skin tone. I absolutely love these powders. Some shimmer powders sit on your skin in a chalky way, but this one is practically like liquid metal on your skin. I will apply all my makeup, powder my face, and then as the last touch I will take a small blending brush and just run this on the top of my cheek bones. It just gives me an edgier, more iridescent glow than something like the Lorac Luminizing Powder. Check it out!

Eye Glitter Application Trick!
Hello my gorgeous, glittery fans! I wanted to share with you a makeup trick of mine that I came up with a friend of mine and then the other part is a pixiwoo tip. So, if you're going to do a glitter eye, you must NOT apply any face makeup before you do it. You SHOULD apply an eye shadow primer and then a base color that is similar or complimentary to the color glitter you want to apply to your eyelid. You apply the shadow primer and base color, AND THEN, you use a clear eyelash glue, and spread that carefully over the lid where you want the glitter to stick. You can find clear eyelash glue at drug stores. They're a little harder to find, but they're there. Once the glitter is on, take your glitter and a brush you don't care about, and press it onto your lip. The glitter will stick and literally will not move for the whole night/show, etc. If you're concerned about putting glue on your lid, don't be. Eyelash glue is meant to be near your eyes and doesn't cause any damage or hurt. I've done it tons of times.
The second part of this is a clean up tip! You will have A LOT of fallout from the glitter, and there is NOTHING WORSE than glitter face. So, you can take a brush, or even a pencil, or pen, or anything small that you can use, and put tape on it and then gently press it over areas of your face that are covered in glitter. It will pick it up, AND, if you usually dust off glitter fallout with brushes, this is a way to avoid getting glitter out of them. Glitter eyes are definitely my favorite. I like to use MAC glitter pigments, Makeup Forever Diamond Powders and glitters, etc. GO FOT IT!

Makeup Forever
Hello, my beautiful made up fans. Today I want to talk about Makeup Forever products I have used. Makeup Forever is a fabulous brand and most of their products are golden. The one downside is that I find that slightly more pricey than other brands I like more, but it still doesn't stop me from buying their stuff. I think their bestselling and most loved product is the High Definition Powder. It is $32, which is on the pricey side, but it really is wonderful. I like the MAC finishing powder almost as much and it's also $10 less. The Makeup Forever one is just great though. Another great Makeup Forever product is the eye shadows. They have amazing matte shades, gorgeous shimmers that aren't too shimmery, bright, pigmented colors, but again, they're just a LITTLE too expensive to be your number one choice. They also do amazing diamond shadows and glitters. The glitters are too expensive as well, at $14, but the diamond powders are honestly worth it. They are really special and gorgeous. I will talk about my trick to applying glitter and glitter powders at a later date. In the end, I really like this brand, I just wish everything was $2-5 cheaper. Do you have any Makeup Forever favorites? Let me know!

MAC Pigment
Hello, my gorgeous, makeup loving fans! Today I want to talk about my love for a certain product. This is nothing new, though. MAC Pigments are loved and used by many people, but just in case you're unaware of these pretty products, I thought I'd share my thoughts. MAC Pigments are a highly pigmented loose powder that can be used for eyes, cheeks, probably lips, thought I haven't tried that. They come in loose powder form in many, many shades. Some of my favorite shades are: Vanilla, Naked, Tan, etc. They also come in the form of super colorful, sparkly glitters. The glitters are harder to find because they're usually a special edition product, or a MAC Pro product. Two must have MAC Pigment glitters are Crystallized yellow (if you like below eye shadow) and 3D Glitter.
While MAC Pigments are on the expensive side ($20 a pop), you do get a good amount of product and they really do have multiple uses. Unless I want a specific look (like the Crystallized Yellow), I buy these in the more neutral colors because they are SO pigmented and gorgeous and can be used on eyes AND cheeks. The bright greens and blues aren't so wonderful for cheeks...unless you're going for a Little Mermaid theme. As for the glitters, in an upcoming post I'll be sharing my trick for applying glitter on the eyes without making a complete mess and having fallout through the night. Kisses!

(P.S: If you're looking for discontinued pigments on ebay, don't be fooled by the enormous, too cheap to be real lot of pigments. Really read reviews carefully of the seller. There are so many fake MAC products on ebay!)

Bronzer!
Hello, my gorgeous, beautiful, amazing fans! Because it's getting closer and closer to summer, today I want to talk BRONZER! Bronzer is probably one of the greatest inventions of all time. It can help contour your face, give you some color and generally improve life. There are a few really important tips I can give about bronzer. One of them took me years to realize, but the realization was worth the years of mistakes. It is really important to use a matte bronzer when contouring your face. I love to accentuate my beautiful cheekbones and contour my nose, and the mistake I used to make was using a bronzer with shimmer in it for this job. When contouring anything, it is SO important to use a matte bronzer, otherwise you'll get a shiny, orange nose! Don't get me wrong, I LOVE shimmery bronzers, but now I know to apply them above my initial matte bronzer and blend them together.
For my matte bronzer I use one by MAC, which is just called "matte bronze." It's a nice texture and goes on well. Honestly, it is hard to find a matte bronzer because so many companies primarily make bronzer with shimmer. How much shimmer and what specific color you like is up to you, but one of my favorite bronzers with shimmer is Pink Leopard from Too Faced. I like to apply this above my matte bronzer, and then put the Lorac highlighter I told you about, on the top of my cheekbones. Also, it has some pink tones in it, so it does the job of giving you the bronzed look and giving you a pink, healthy glow. I will say, this product is geared more towards lighter skin tones, so if you have a darker skin tone, or you just want a darker bronzer, I like Sun Bunny from Too Faced. They also make palettes with multiple colors in them that last an extremely an long time if you want different colors throughout the year. Can't wait till I get more of a tan and can REALLY get my bronze on!
