Veronica's Best Dressed from the Oscars

Hello, my gorgeous, adoring fans! It's been a while, but I couldn't stop myself from posting about my favorite red carpet fashions. Well, here we go...

Jessica Chastain's hair, makeup, dress and accessories all make up for some not so great red carpet moments she's had this year. The Armani dress is just stunning. The color and the pattern, it's just amazing. Jessica may not have won the award tonight, but she wins my pick for best dressed of the evening.

Some others I loved...Halle Berry looked gorgeous in her stripey dress. She looks amazing. 

Nicole Kidman's dress was wild and crazy, but I kind of love it. 

I bet not everyone loved this...but I don't care. Jane Fonda looks terrific.

Naomi Watts looked like a futuristic goddess in her dress. Her hubby isn't looking so bad either.

Charlize did some gorgeous dancing at the Oscars, she also rocked out the red carpet. I thought this dress was pretty similar to the one that Anne Hathaway wore to the Globes, but actually think Charlize looks better....duh....

Um..CZJ looked incredible in her gold, sequins. She also did some great dancing and lip synching during the award show.

Jennifer Lawrence looked really, really lovely....I just feel like she dressed in preparation to win, which rubbed me the wrong way, but whatever.

Kerry Washington could wear a garbage bag and look gorgeous. I love her Prada dress, but I wish her hair had been different. She's always gorgeous though. 

Reese looked great. The blue is a little much for me, but the styling and overall look is gorgeous and classic. 

Some dresses I didn't like. I hated Anne Hathaway's dress. The back looked slutty and the front was weird to me. Also, the pointy nipples were weird. The necklace also threw me off a little. I think her hair and makeup looking lovely though. 

I normally love Adele's fashion choices, but I am over her not showing any skin at all. She is a gorgeous woman and could stand to wear something with a V-neck...or SOMETHING. Maybe some fabulous, colorful accent jewelry would have brightened this look up? I don't know. 

Didn't like this one either and her hair looked messy.

Nicole Kidman pees on Zac Efron in Paperboy, Director Lee Daniels explains

Hello, gorgeous fans. So the most crazy scene to come out of the Cannes Film Festival is a scene from The Paperboy which stars Nicole Kidman, Zac Efron, etc. In the scene, Zac Efron's character has been severely stung by a jellyfish. Some other girls try and pee on him, but Kidman's character PUSHES them aside and says, "If anyone's gonna pee on you, it's going to be me." Well...and then she supposedly does. Lee Daniels said that he considered not putting this scene in the movie, but that Nicole Kidman interceded. "Lee, you made me pee on Zac Efron," she said. "If you don't put that in the movie, you're out of your freakin' mind. I did it! I did it!" True...because the reviews haven't been great, they need SOMETHING to get people to go! HA! I mean...I will definitely see it regardless of Zac Efron being urinated on, but it definitely helps...

Makeup Forever HD Powder and Flash Photography

Hello, my gorgeous, makeup wearing fans! These pictures have been going around for a while, but I wanted to spread the word about this just so this NEVER happens to you. Makeup Forever has a translucent HD powder which is designed to make people look amazing with HD cameras. It has a silicon in it which fills in your skin and reduces wrinkles, smooths out skin, etc. It's a fabulous powder that is used for movies, film and everyday...but if you are going to taking flash photographs DO NOT WEAR IT! Unfortunately, when applied heavily on concealer, which is what you SHOULD do for under eye concealer so it doesn't crease, it is so strong and reflects so much, that in flash photos the areas that you apply the most powder to show up as white and powdery. NUTS! Obviously Nicole, Ashley and Eva's makeup artists didn't know this...now they do. Also, check out Wayne Goss talking about this and doing a demonstration!

The Paperboy, starring Nicole Kidman and Zac Efron

Hello, gorgeous ones! Zac Efron?! Nicole Kidman?! John Cusack? Matthew McConaughey...anyway, this movie looks exciting! The Paper Boy is the film and supposedly Zac Efron spends a good chunk of the movie in his tighty whities and Nicole Kidman gets it on with him and John Cusack...as far as the plot goes...um...I'm sort of vague. Nicole Kidman falls in love with a convict on death row and hirers John Cusack and Zac Efron to investigate it and possibly get him off? I'll find out more, but the pictures DID catch my eye!
