False Alarm: Britney's Vegas Stint is a no go!!!

Sad news! While a residency for Britney in Vegas is not out of the question, it sounds like the deal at Caesar's Palace fell through. I AM SO SAD! BUT, let's not worry too much about our pop princess. Her music video of "Scream & Shout" reached over 100,000,000 views on youtube, she's working on her new album and I'm sure it's going to be amazing. Also, it sounds like there is still a definite possibility of Britney going to Vegas...we can ONLY hope!

Britney for the win!

So, I have been enormously worried about Britney for the past week or so. The pop princess has had a hard time of it: quitting/getting fired from X Factor, and her relationship with Jason Trawick fizzling, I was worried Britney might fall back into a major downward spiral, but don't worry, Britney always comes out on top! La Spears has signed a two year contract with Caesar's Palace and will be making about $200 million!!! Um...that is way more money than she made doing X Factor, and I bet the hard work will be good for Britney. Lip syncing is NO JOKE HARD :)! 

Britney Quits X-Factor :(!

Sad news! My favorite pop princess and yours will NOT return for another season of X Factor! It's reported that she loved working with Simon and Demi, etc, but that she is going to focus on her next album. I guess walking away from $15 million is easier than it sounds? It sounds like she wasn't going to be asked back and she stepped away from the show before she was sacked...or maybe they're making it seem like she quit, but they already told her her contract wouldn't be renewed...oh well! Needless to say, I will not be watching this show next season. 

X Factor is confusing

How pretty did Britney look the first night of X Factor this week? That was the good part of this week. The performances this week ranged from awesome to confusing. The highlights were of course Tate Stevens and of course Carly Rose Sonenclar's rendition of "Rolling in the Deep" was wonderful and original. A few others were pretty great too. Diamond White did a great job trying something new and I was SHOCKED she was in the sing-off. I also hate to admit it, but I always like Emblem 3. I like there mediocre voices, adorable faces and star personalities. I also love how the one who isn't their brother is all like tortured and weird. 

Paige Thomas, who went home last night, actually showed a completely different side of herself, but did anyone else notice that she wasn't surprised when she found out she was being sent home? You wonder if she was told...she also wanted nothing to do with Demi. Yikes. I was really, really surprised that Diamond and Vino Alan were in the sing-off. WHO is voting for CeCe Fry and 5th Harmony?!?! CeCe is SO unlikable and was acting like a drugged up sex kitten during the judge's feedback. She also sounds terrible. I think she does have a voice in there, it just sounds awful. She throws it around and sounds like a girl singing with headphones in her room. 

Vino and Diamond both did a really good job, especially Vino, who I hated singing "That Loving Feeling." He also needed to chill out with all the gesturing and waving to the audience while he's getting feedback from the judges. Britney would be talking and he'd be like waving at someone in the audience...stop. Diamond was clearly going to win over Vino, and I sort of wish she didn't. I think Diamond is going to be scooped up by a record label or given her own show on Disney Channel or something. She is SO talented and pretty and likable that'd it'd just be a shock if nothing happened for her. 

Anyway, Britney looked gorgeous the first episode of the week and I even liked her suit and hat outfit. ALSO, I LOVE THE "SCREAM AND SHOUT" video! Britney looks amazing and the song is pretty cool. Demi is so annoying, but at least she finally started looking better. I hope CeCe gets voted off next week.

Britney is NOT into Demi and Khloe

This could be totally untrue, but I'm sort of hoping it's not. Supposedly, Britney is SO not into Demi Lovato or Khloe Kardashian. People are saying that Britney hardly speaks to Demi and that when Khloe is hosting the show, Britney is usually rolling her eyes, looking at her nails and making faces at the audience. Khloe is aware of Brit's dislike of her and keeps her distance. Demi and Khloe are friendly and Demi even championed Khloe and assisted her in getting the hosting gig. Basically, Brit just thinks she is too cool for these girls and...she is totally right. 

X-Factor Top 10: Thoughts

Well, well, well...we're now down to the top 10. For the past two weeks I've been voting like crazy for my favorites and have been surprised to see certain people go home...but i've also been happy to see Britney looking slightly better every episode. Last night when the top 10 were announced, Britney looked AMAZING!!!! The gold dress she was wearing, her hair and makeup all finally came together and she looked like a million bucks...she still just needs tons more makeup though and then she'll be good. Also...the bangs...ugh...they've gotten better, but they need to go. 

Anyway, I have been so pissed that CeCe Fry has been the cause of two worthier contestants leaving the show. The First was Adam Brock. Adam probably had the best voice on the show (maybe besides Tate and Carly), but unfortunately is just too silly to be serious and to ridiculous to be fun and edgy, and then L.A Reid showcased him in the worst possible ways ever and that was totally not his fault. I bet if Simon had handled him or even Demi he would have faired better. Also, he just sang kind of badly in his last few performances, BUT THE FACT THAT CECE STAYED OVER HIM IS MADDENING!

AND THEN! LAST NIGHT! Everyone felt bad for CeCe because Demi said she "wanted it the most." Who cares...she can't sing. She whines into pitches and then screams. It's sort of incredible that she can even get through songs. Also, are we all just forgetting what a psycho bitch she was at the first auditions? Anyway, she sang "All By Myself" terribly, and someone Jennel Garcia ended up at the bottom with Paige. When Jennel was at Demi's house I really thought she would be at LEAST top 3, but Demi really did mess up her whole image and should have kept her girl next door, Kelly Clarkson look. The bottom line is that Jennel is actually a good singer and the fact that everyone pitied CeCe and forgot about Jennel sucks. CECE NEEDS TO GO HOME! The other thing that sucks is that Paige got a better song for her "sing off" with Jennel and just looked better too...what was going on with Jennel's hair?! Oy! 

Besides that I liked Demi's 40s look last night and it was nice to see her with some eyes and lip color after weeks of thick eyebrows and no makeup...her face isn't pretty enough to pull that off and does everyone remember how GORGEOUS she looked when they were going around on auditions? Britney Spears is writing a book!!

Hello all! So, my favorite X Factor judge and yours, Miss Britney Spears, has just signed a deal with a publishing company and will be writing a book. Unfortunately it is NOT a memoir, but it may be something altogether more entertaining. Britney will be writing a book loosely based on her experiences in the business with a main character based on her. As excited as I am, I am pretty sure Britney will be dictating to a ghost writer as she eats some snickers....

Britney staying sober!

So not only is Britney loving her new gig, but she's also being REALLY responsible with her personal life to make sure everything happens the way it's supposed to. The hotel rider from the audition cities stated:

"Very important: We require you to empty the minibars of all alcohol. And no gifts of wine or any other alcoholic beverages, please."

Now that's commitment! Mini-bars, especially when it's on a network's dime, must be the best.

Britney and X Factor judges at Grauman's Chinese Theater

I LOVE BRITNEY! Last night in Los Angeles, Britney and the other judges went to Grauman's Chinese Theater to put there names in the cement and then screen the world premiere of the new season of X Factor. All the reviews are saying that Britney is a total natural and is shining in her new position on the show. Also, she looked STUNNING at the premiere! Her hairdresser gets a gold star. I like Britney's hair to be long and have some volume. If it's flat or too curly it's NOT good. Looking forward to watching tonight. Oh, and Demi Lovato look cute last night as well.

Khloe Kardashian may host X Factor!

Rumors are flying that Khloe Kardashian may host X Factor, which would give me yet another reason to watch this show...even though I probably won't (but I WILL be looking up Britney highlights online). Demi Lovato, one of the show's judges, has openly been saying that Khloe is her first choice and now Simon Cowell is even saying it! Well...isn't he in charge? I wonder if Khloe will go for it...

Did Britney almost quit X-Factor?

A few months ago when the first tapings of the new season of X-Factor started, there was a lot of buzz that Britney had lost it during the first taping and walked off. It was later explained away that she just needed to use the bathroom...hmmm. But now the truth is coming out and supposedly Brit freaked out and felt she couldn't do the job. I don't blame her, there's been a lot of press on her new gig and I'm sure there was a lot of pressure to do well, but I'm glad she kept going and seems like she's having fun now!

It's no secret that I love Britney, and I have been exciting to see her looking gorgeous in all these clips from X-Factor. Check out Britney looking sooooo pretty on the cover of Elle. I was saying this to someone recently. Some people write that Britney still looks pretty rough compared to other celebrities her age. I think what it is is that first of all, Britney lived hard for a bit. Also, I really don't think she gets botox or has gotten much, if any facial surgery...so considering all this...I think she looks pretty fab!

Hello, my Britney-loving fans! I had been saying for months that the best part of Britney possibly, and then definitely being part of X-Factor is that she'd be all glammed up for the show. Britney is HOT, but the one thing she's always lacked is amazing styling. I just KNEW that if she was on a reality show they would give her a great stylist and wonderful hair and makeup people to make her look great, and they really are doing a wonderful job. Britney looks AMAZING in this red bandage dress. Gorgeous.

Jamie Lynn Spears is alive!!!

Hello, gorgeous fans. The last time we were hearing about Jamie Lynn Spears, she was knocked up at 16 and had her show on Nickelodeon cancelled (Zoe 101...which I definitely watched). Maybe you remember this as well, just around the time Jamie Lynn got preggers, Britney was having her breakdown...this is a time I don't usually like to think on, as it was so upsetting. Now, after five years (I can't believe it's been that long) Jamie Lynn has reared her head out of the diaper filled abyss to sit down for an interview with Glamour Magazine. Jamie had this to say about her situation...

"I was 16. I'd had one boyfriend. It doesn't make it perfect or all right. But I was judged for something that probably most everyone does. I was young. I was in love. I was like every other teenager, except I had this last name..."

True story. Also, she talked a little about her COMEBACK. Jamie Lynn is hoping to jump-start her music career. Back in November, 2011, Jamie performed a set of her own songs for friends and family. Hope it works out! I want the Spears girls to be happy!

Hello, gorgeous fans. There have been a bunch of pictures and even some audio of Britney and Demi judging X-Factor. From the audio it sounds like any worries Britney wouldn't be totally wonderful should be squashed. She sounds like the nice judge, but there's nothing wrong with that, especially because Demi Lovato sounds like a total biatch. Also, Britney is looking GOOOOOD! This is only the first episode they've filmed, imagine how much more amazing Britney's hair, makeup and outfits are going to get. I LOVE GLAMOROUS BRITNEY :)!!!

Hello, my gorgeous fans! You know, I've thought it for years, but now I know it's true: Britney Spears and I are basically the same person. We are both fragile southern belles with a feisty side. We can sing...really well, and dance with snakes! We also have VERY similar demands when we do shows: 24-pack cases of Diet Coke, 10 snack-sized bags of Doritos, 10 pieces of chicken, four pints of potato salad, and 12 Snickers bars backstage for she and her team every week...but when she says team, she means her and her two manorexic gay stylists who don't eat. Ugh, I love you Brit, I really do.

Forbes Top 100 Celebrities

Hello, gorgeous fans. So, Forbes has released their list of the top 100 most powerful celebrities in the business for this year. Check out the full list here. What you have to remember about this though is that this is not about who actually earned the most this past year, it's about who has the most "power" in the industry, which I guess means investments, what jobs they have, etc. Jennifer Lopez is #1 on the list, and Oprah is #2, but she actually earned three times as much as J.Lo. The others in the top 5 were Rihanna, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga.  At #6 is Britney, who I wouldn't be surprised to see move up on that list for next year with her new X-Factor gig! Britney and Demi announce their new spots on X-Factor

Hello, gorgeous fans! I had been so excited about this for the past month or two, but Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have finally been announced as judges for next season, and not have they been announced, but they made the announcement themselves on TV! Britney was looking better than she had looked for a while, and there's actually been some talk about how Simon is demanding that Britney be glammed up to the MAX for the show. He doesn't want "trailer trash" Britney, he wants the SUPERSTAR Britney! I am SO excited to see Britney in the hands of some fabulous TV stylists who will hopefully give her amazing hair, makeup and clothes. We can only hope!!!
