Hello, gorgeous ones! I found this clip of La Hilty singing a very full throated, sometimes iffy rendition of "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend," from the Encores! production of Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. Hilty doesn't have the sex appeal of Marilyn, but she brings her own brassy, sexuality to the legendary song...I mean, Marilyn is a TOUGH act to follow, but don't forget: It was CAROL CHANNING who originated the role on stage...just a reminder to you all :).
